Short-Term Stay Testimonials
The post-surgical experience of Juliette Williams was unusual because she had several complications that caused her to extend her stay at Lincoln Home for 8-months. However, she feels those eight months were a life saver. She says…
“My recent experience with cancer was scary and treacherous. I had two surgeries and chemotherapy, and had many complications along the way. If I had been living at home, I don’t think I would still be here now. The staff of The Lincoln Home supported me and helped me every step of the way.
Nursing director Millie was a constant blessing to me in getting through many months of medical problems, one after the other. Rhonda’s activities and exercise classes have helped me so much. The Lincoln Home is very a warmhearted place. I love my dining table mates and we make jokes and have a good time. Plus the food is wonderful! At first I couldn’t eat much, but the excellent food and beautiful dining room on the river helped my appetite.
Being in the Lincoln Home community has uplifted me in more ways than I can tell you. Now I am going home with a new lease on life. I will always be grateful for the amazing recovery I have experienced during my short-term stay at The Lincoln Home.”
