HELP US HELP OTHERS.

We celebrate our life on the River each and every day, whether we are outside enjoying the sunshine, engaged in an indoor activity, or sharing a meal together. Our lives are full of companionship, laughter, delicious food, fun excursions, and being part of this caring community we call home.

The Lincoln Home continues to grow and evolve to meet the changing needs and expectations of our seniors. We are committed to offering a Vibrant Lifestyle where seniors continue to thrive in a nurturing environment, secure in the knowledge their individual needs will be met. Associates, residents, and family members continue to say what sets our extraordinary community apart, is the feeling of family we share, and staff that go above and beyond.

In order to keep us sustainable in the future, we have instituted a creative plan to address the changing needs of Lincoln County seniors, as well as increase our bottom line. Due to changes in the state of healthcare post Covid, we have incurred significant costs that could not have been anticipated. Demand for quality assisted living is at an all time high in Lincoln County. Our solution was to redesign our existing floor plan to better utilize space and resources. We created six new apartments, relocated our library to the second floor with a lovely view of the river and comfy seating, added a new Media room, and opened our dining room to include a warm gathering spot for spontaneous socializing with other residents, friends and family. We replaced our aging furnaces with new, energy efficient technology, upgraded our plumbing and HVAC systems, and augmented our electrical service to meet our current building needs. The long term benefits include significant energy savings and regular maintenance agreements will extend the life and efficiency of our new systems.

HELP US HELP OTHERS....

We need your help to continue to address the evolving needs of our Lincoln County senior community. The Lincoln Home is one of the last free-standing, not-for-profit Assisted Living Homes in Maine, and receives no federal or state dollars. Your donations make it possible to provide a wide variety of opportunities to support seniors with exceptional service and a unique way of life here in the Midcoast.

Our fundraising efforts continue to support residents who need additional financial support. Last summer we hosted a pre-fireworks July 4 celebration barbecue, with a fun band and games, open to the public for a small donation. In August, we hosted our LobsterBake & More fundraiser, an evening filled with friends, community, residents and families enjoying great food and music. We are grateful to our Lincoln Home team of volunteers, and to the local businesses who helped make these events a huge success. This year, we will host both events again.

We are committed to honoring our legacy offering a home where seniors continue to grow and enjoy life to the fullest each and every day. Your tax-deductible donation directly benefits our residents. Your contribution ensures The Lincoln Home remains sustainable into the future by maximizing and building on our foundation, honoring our history, and maintaining our valued place in Lincoln County.

Our residents, dedicated staff and Board of Directors are grateful to each and every one of you.

Thank you for your support from all of us at The Lincoln Home.

Donations of $99 or more will receive our 2024 Lincoln Home calendar.
