Meet Our Team
Lorrie has been at the helm for over 3 years. She spoke of how welcoming and supportive everyone was when she came on board, setting her up to succeed. Many of the LH team, when sharing what they loved about their jobs, cited Lorrie’s energy, enthusiasm and supportive management style. “ My leadership style is inclusive... I make decisions by collaborating with the leadership team and the Board of Directors. At The Lincoln Home, it is more about the heart than anything else. You have to love what you do, love the residents, and love the people on your team. I think of it as being a servant leader...it’s important to give back to the community we are embedded in and give back to our employees in any way we can. The real heart beat of LH is the team on the floor, all those serving our residents each day. I love that everyone is so invested. I believe in empowering people to do their jobs well and make good decisions. Many of our staff have been here a long time, and it just gets bigger and better when new people join us. I have worked in places that have a heart, but not in the way LH operates. They serve from the heart all the time...the staff, the Board...we are part of this community and part of the people who live here. I want LH to operate as smoothly as it does with or without me here. I have a strong commitment to doing the right thing to ensure LH is sustainable in to the future, maximizing and building on what we have, being fiscally responsible, honoring our history and our place in the community.” Our LH team is lucky to have you, Lorrie, thank you for all you do each and every day.
“ I love the feeling of family amongst staff and residents. I truly enjoy my one on one interactions with the residents; assessing, visiting, getting to know each person. The management team is fun, supportive and easy to work with. Our caregiving team is responsible, and always available to help in providing resident focused care. Lorrie is an amazing leader, she makes us feel completely supported in our jobs and how we care for our residents. I feel it is a privilege to help people in this last chapter of their lives. I love all the residents, like family, and when someone passes, it deeply affects all of us.” We are lucky to have you, Drucilla, thank you.
We Are Family.
Our team is the heartbeat of our home.
Associates, residents, and family members continually say what sets our extraordinary community apart, is the feeling of family we share, and staff that go above and beyond.
Kacie started as a CNA at The Lincoln Home, advancing to our Community Life Director, and now to her current position as Community Outreach and Experience Director. She loved being a CNA because of the one on one caregiving. In her new role, she is still close to and an advocate for the residents’ quality of daily living. Kacie enjoys planning activities and social events that include field trips, music, art, cooking, writing and just having fun together, always making sure that each individual’s requests and needs are met. Kacie is excited about bringing more people into our lovely community and Lincoln Home family. “ When I walk through the door at LH, I feel like I am home. I love the family atmosphere we share with the residents. I love the team I work with, always working on ways to make things better. I love that I am close with all the residents, and get to interact with my co workers - we are a team. I love that having roots in this community translates into our residents knowing our families and we know theirs.”
Kacie’s relationship building strengths, her passion for residents, and her deep roots in this community serve her well in her role.
Thank you, Kacie, for your bright smile and positive, giving attitude. It’s clear that each resident is special to you, and you bring such joy to their lives each day.
CAMERON KUNESH
Assistant Care Manager, CRMA
Cameron has always loved helping people. Over the last 15 years, she has worked at a number of Assisted Living facilities. Cameron feels The Lincoln Home stands out, “When you walk in, you feel the difference...the setting here is amazing...the food, the atmosphere, all the activities, transportation and the beautiful view. Being part of this team feels great, there is a lot less stress than other places. The best part is being with the residents. Most importantly, what is portrayed here, is truly genuine...it’s evident in the residents. They are so positive and they love being here. It is so rewarding helping residents make the most of this chapter in their lives. I try to be the sunshine in their day.” Thank you for being just that, Cameron.
